Today was a very exciting day! We had a REAL explorer come and talk to us. He told us that he has seen a real whale and showed us some of his equipment. This week we have learnt how to use question marks and ask questions and we used these skills to find out lots of information.
What fun we had in our pancake races today! We were all really good sports and cheered on our friends (and our teachers)! We have also learnt why we have pancakes and talked about what we would like on ours.

This week Bumblebee's went on a very exciting adventure! We went to the Arctic! Well to our Arctic Reading tent! We had a wonderful time sharing books together and learning some interesting facts.
Bumblebee Class made some beautiful poppies for Remembrance Day.
Bumblebee's have had a special visitor come to see them from the Dog's Trust. They learnt how to look after dogs and how to treat them.
Something very strange happened in Bumblebee class! We found a trail of biscuit crumbs and it led us to a fox and a half eaten gingerbread man! What story do you think it could be?
We were very impressed with all of the creative animals projects that many of you did over the half term holiday!
The Year 1's had a lot of fun on their trip to Bristol Zoo
EYFS children enjoyed bringing in their bikes and scooters. They learnt about how to keep themselves safe on the road, and made number plates. They enjoyed cleaning their bikes before riding them around the playground.
