Summer Term

Welcome back to school. Here comes the sun!

It does not seem possible that half term is now just around the corner. We have had such a busy first half term with lots of exciting visitors and our special jobs to do. Here are some highlights.

Easter Bonnet Parade!

Spring Term

The Spring Term is now well and truly underway and we have been incredibly busy already. Have a look at some of the things we have been doing in class.

Wedding Day

What a lovely afternoon we had with Reverend Rebecca learning about Christian Marriage! The children all looked wonderful and enjoyed learning about what happens during a marriage ceremony in church. Everybody played their roles beautifully.

World Book Day

What a great effort everyone made today! Thank you, Peter Rabbit Class, you all looked wonderful. Can you guess who all these story characters are?

Our Trip to The SS  Great Britain

What a fantastic day we had visiting the SS Great Britain! We found out so much and enjoyed looking around the museum. We even went under Brunel's amazing suspension bridge.

Our Trip to The SS Great Britain

What a great day we had on Tuesday! We had a fantastic time in the museum and aboard Isambard Kingdom Brunel's amazing ship. Here are some highlights.

Technology Week

We worked very hard during the last week of term. We enjoyed technology week where we tried out some new apps on the I-pads and made an algorithm for a robot dance. We also made wheels and axles in DT and peer- edited our journey tales. Mrs Gray was particularly proud of this work!

Traffic Census

This week we have been out into the village to look at the traffic. We watched the vehicles passing us in Hyde Lane and in the centre of the village. It was great fun!

Little Red Riding Hood treasure hunt and learning our times tables.

Christmas Lunch

Peter Rabbit Class Superstars

What fun we have had this week putting on our Nativity Play! We feel very proud of you all. Well done!

Who's Been in the Kitchen?

We were amazed to find that somebody had been in the school kitchen cooking soup for a giant. We decided to make up our own instructions and this time we made soup for a troll.

Harvest Festival

Secret World

We had such a great afternoon with Secret World. We met Star the owl and Tony the corn snake.

These children have got their first bronze coin reading reward. Well done to all of you and keep going. Your pot will soon be full.

We have had a great start to the term and, indeed, the school year. Here are some photos of our first few days in Peter Rabbit Class.
