The Queen's birthday celebrations
What a lovey week we've had thinking about the Queen!  Our tea party was a great success.

Victorian Day

We all had a fantastic day pretending to be Victorians - although the teachers were a little scary!

The children took part in a number of workshops exploring Victorian homes.  They had a go at baking soda bread, making a rag rug and investigated some very strange looking household objects.  In class the children recited their times tables, practised their hand writing (in chalk!), recited poetry and took part in a 'drill' session on the playground.
