SPRING TERM

Friday 8th November 2019 "OOH AH ME HEARTIES!"

We have had a super time today learning even more about Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole. We looked at artefacts used by nurses in the past, dressed up and role played, looked at photographs which gave us clues as to what Florence Nightingale is famous for, and discussed objects in Florence's suitcase. It was good fun and we learnt a lot!

Friday 11th October 2019 - Florence Nightingale Workshop (Museum Visit)

Outdoor Education - We had fun making pictures out of natural materials. How many wolves and pigs can you spot?

The Three Little Pigs Drama - Look at our freeze frames.

Turtle Class - Autumn Term Curriculum Jigsaw

We were all pleased to see each other after the holiday and we have had a lovely first few days settling in to Turtle Class.

We spent time thinking about how we wanted to behave in our new class and we worked together to make a list of class rules to try to follow.  We asked and answered questions about turtles and learned a very catchy song about turtles called 'Here we go'!  Our turtle sketches are really going to look great on display just outside the classroom too.  We also welcomed the newest member of our class - lots of names were suggested for our class turtle and in the end we had to draw it out from a hat (well it was a tin actually!)  - welcome 'Milly the turtle'
