Our Visit to the Church

We visited the church and saw all the things that we have learnt about in class.  We spotted the stained glass windows, the font, the alter and the organ.

We learnt all about baptism.  Thank you Vicar Lee - we had a lovely morning.

HEN VISIT

What a lovely surprise to have Twinkle the hen (and Tori) join us in class this afternoon!  We asked lots of questions and found out some interesting things.  Did you know that hens do not wee? laugh Here are a few pictures of the visit:

'Our First Nativity' - Thank you all for your support with our performances. Please see the GoogleClassroom pages for more photos.

We have been learning about Remembrance Day and why this is so important. We watched the Cbeebies animation of a rabbit running through the poppy fields to help us to stay quiet and still for two minutes at 11 o'clock. We chose lots of poppy related activities in our 'busy time'.

Hope Week - Crafting with our year 6 buddies

The year 6 children shared their poems with us on Thursday. We really enjoyed their company and had a play time with them.

Harvest Assembly

We were very excited to have our very first assembly in the school hall!

Pre-school joined us and we even had a special visitor - Revd. Lee.

We learnt about harvest and sang 'I'm a Dingle Dangle Scarecrow' before sharing some of the artwork we have created.

Our first couple of weeks at school have been very busy...
