Tiggywinkles and Tom Kitten Class enjoyed a mock wedding service.
Shrove Tuesday - Pancake Races
EYFS and Key Stage 1 classes enjoyed a morning of pancake races. Children from Jeremy Fisher and Peter Rabbit Class raced off in their school teams, tossing their pancakes midway. What fun we had!
Tom Kitten Class and Tiggywinkles were joined by the Pre-school children for pancake races.
Michael was the overall winner with Zuki coming 2nd.
Half-Term Vehicle Challenge
Well done to all the children who took part in the recycled vehicle challenge.
All the plans and models have been displayed for everyone to view in the main corridor of the school.
There have been so many different ideas and materials used, everyone must have worked really hard producing so many different types of transport.
Please take time to come and view the entire model collection.
We have tried to ensure all vehicles have been photographed and put on the website for those who are unable to come into school to view the wonderful display.
I think you will agree everyone who took part is a winner. Thank you for supporting this challenge.
EYFS and KS1 Christmas Craft Day
What a fantastic morning we had, working in our school teams and making lots of lovely things for Christmas!
EYFS and KS1 Nativity 2016
Christmas is now well and truly on the way after our wonderful performances this week. Well done to all the children. You made us very proud.
TLP Awards Ceremony
It was a pleasure to watch Rosie Cornelius, Drew Stewart and Cory Cunningham collect their prizes at Bishop Foxes School on Thursday 7th July. Holly Williams and Owen Greenslade-Yates were there too, having been selected to give a speech about their time at Primary School. They spoke clearly and confidently and should feel very proud of themselves. Well done to all the children.
WELLS CATHEDRAL - Year 6 PILGRIM DAY
On 16 June, our Year 6 pupils attended an inspirational day at Wells Cathedral to mark the end of their time in Key Stage 2 and think about the next phase of their educational journey. The day began in the Cathedral with prayers, readings and hymns and ended with the children parading through the Cathedral, carrying school banners and lighting candles to commemorate the occasion. During the day, pupils participated in a wide range of workshops and tours of the grounds. On departure, the West Doors were opened - a special privilege as they are used only on very special occasions.
Here are a selection of KS2 photos from Sports Day. Before the races, children enjoyed activities around the playground led by some of our old pupils - now young Sports Leaders at Heathfield.
