We are an expanding, scenic and historic village close to Taunton and the M5 motorway. We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational leader to further develop our happy and successful village school.

The governors of Creech St Michael School are looking to appoint someone who:

  • Ensures all children are treated as individuals and are inspired in their learning, whatever their needs, to fulfil their potential.
  • Demonstrates resilience, flexibility, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Possess the skills to maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders and further develop the dedicated and supportive staff team.
  • Continues to develop the school’s close relationship with its local and wider communities.
  • Works closely with the Local Authority, Diocese, Governors and the two local churches.
  • Continues and embeds the school’s recently reviewed curriculum.
  • Has recent experience in a senior leadership role.
